Fergus specialises in residential and commercial conveyancing, where his extensive knowledge of the property market and conveyancing process enables him to guide clients smoothly through all stages of a transaction. Morag Robertson is a key member of the private client department at Mactaggart & Co, with a particular focus on the administration of estates and complex executries.
With many years of practical experience in private client work, Morag has developed a deep understanding of both the legal and procedural aspects of estate administration, making her a vital resource for clients and colleagues alike.

Morag is a member of The Society of Law Accountants in Scotland (SOLAS), a professional body representing specialists in legal accounting and estate administration. Her membership reflects a high level of proficiency in the financial intricacies of executry work and estate settlement. In addition, she is also a member of The Scottish Paralegal Association, further demonstrating her dedication to professional development and excellence in legal support services.

At Mactaggart & Co, Morag handles a number of the firm’s more complex executries, including estates involving cross-border assets, multiple beneficiaries, business interests and inheritance tax considerations. Her role often involves liaising with HM Revenue & Customs, preparing estate accounts, dealing with property and asset transfers, and advising executors throughout the process.
